The fun starts Tuesday, October 4, with a Pep Rally and culminates with the big Fun Run (grades K-5) and Color Run (grades 6-8) on Friday, October 14. Families will have the time in-between to secure pledges for every lap their student runs (on average, about 30-35 laps) and are invited to cheer their student on during their run. Pledge money will be collected in the weeks after the event. We’ve asked the experts at Boosterthon to power our event so it will be profitable, easy, and fun. This year’s character theme is BACKYARD BOX OFFICE, a movie theme all about making a difference by getting into character. Our students will learn from five real kid difference-makers; from inventors and world-class speakers, to business owners and world-record holders. These kids will inspire our students to practice the five “Character Acts” and make a difference in our community. Our goal this year is to raise funds for various classroom needs, as requested by each grade level, so please help our school by reaching out to sponsors and collecting pledges.
